EventTech Awards UK Finalist in 3 categories
The Beko One Home event was a global hybrid celebration that marked the foundation of Beko Europe. Its goal was to inform approximately 20,000 employees across 13 production sites in 46 EU countries about the new company’s objectives. Additionally, it aimed to facilitate direct communication with leadership worldwide and foster a sense of inclusion and community.


Technologies
We developed a suite of software and produced a state-of-the-art Hybrid event.
- Live streams were broadcasted via our “Secure Enterprise Live Streaming Web Platform”. AWS IVS and Google Meet Video Conference Rooms were used for broad accessibility, ensuring secure and seamless streaming worldwide.
- We developed a “Unified Sign-in Solution” compatible with multiple Enterprise SSO systems, enabling access for all participants.
- In line with the “One Home” theme, we designed a modern virtual home stage running in Unreal Engine. This real-time XR Stage provided an immersive backdrop that enhanced the event experience.
- Utilizing AWS as a “Master Control Room” enabled us to manage, distribute, and coordinate AV production, the web platform, and interactive modules. This setup ensured reliable worldwide broadcasts through multi-region redundant instances and serverless solutions.
- Inclusion of remote speakers by routing their Isolated Microsoft Teams cameraµphone signals via SRT, ensured high-quality remote connections.
- Real-time “Simultaneous translation” in 6 languages made the event accessible for a multilingual global audience.
- Based on WebRTC and built on scalable serverless infrastructure, our “Random Video Matchmaking” module supported thousands of simultaneous 1to1 breakout rooms, connecting employees from different countries to foster new connections.
- “The Social Wall” provided a secure digital space where attendees shared moments and interacted on a private Instagram-like platform. Social wall optimises these multimedia contents in real time.
- Our AI-powered face detection, re-framing, background replacement and bin-packing algorithm solution processed thousands of employee portraits to create a gigapixel scale Beko One Home logo navigable via a Google Maps-style tool with a "find-me" button.
- Thousands of attendees participated in real-time “Trivia Game” about Beko, designed to foster a sense of unity and reinforce knowledge about the company’s culture, achievements, and the history of Arçelik and Whirlpool EMEA. Enabled by our real-time web socket based solution and low-latency streaming, the game rewarded the fastest and most accurate responses, showcasing winners on a real-time leaderboard.
- interactive “Q&A” module enabled real-time engagement between the CEO and attendees, facilitating direct communication and immediate feedback.
- Multilingual technical help desk personnel supported presenters and attendees before and during the event.



By connecting thousands of employees in-person and virtually from homes, factories, and offices across the globe, the event felt like a homecoming. The home-like virtual production, with its cosy details and unified visuals, supported the event’s overall vision. Seamless integration of interactive modules within a single platform lowered the barrier to participation, generating thousands of new connections, memories and interactions. By integrating innovative broadcasting and production technologies and custom-built engagement tools, we created a unique hybrid event that successfully connected participants across physical and digital spaces, making it a highly engaging, cohesive and inclusive event.
